I stopped using a bug net at all. I've sprayed my Nano 7 and clothes with permathrin, use bug spray if it seems buggy and, in the NC mountains, haven't had any issues.

    I have a blackbird.
the few nights I have been out the net is a subconscious safety thing, it's like I'm safe behind this "force field" and fall asleep. Even with no bugs - I still zip up the net. it's my personal little space.

    +1 on this.

I use a BBO when it gets in the 20's.
