These kind of trips are always fun. I'll have 3-4 alcohol stoves with me to play with or experiment with as it is a super short hike. Also this time of year is never freezing cold, so clothes and UQ/TQ are simple.
Good times coming soon in the Piney Woods of Lake Wales Ridge State Forest
I'm bringing four (count 'em, 4) wood stoves
If anyone needs a hammock, just yell. I've got that too.

Small Stoves, Cooking & Eating are always fun in Camp.
I just checked the historical average weather for Frostproof for November.
Highs in the upper 70's with lows in the mid 50's.
5 days of rain during November with a total 1.8" for the month. (1 in 6 chances of rain per day).

Ok, hot off the presses! I whipped together a quick map today of the area. It has the trailhead location where we will meet (again... do a Google Earth driving directions search and put in "Rucks Dairy Rd., Frostproof FL" for the drive to address), the location of the camp site (the green check marked area), the location of the county boat ramp where kayakers will likely want to leave at least one vehicle for shuttling back on Sunday, and the hiking trails.
The orange trail is the main hiking loop for the tract (about 19 miles total). The blue trails are short cuts/side trails. The red trail is just one that I put in to make our loop something that can be done in a half a day. The yellow lines that you see are the state forest boundary lines.
If you look at the trailhead area we will hike on the orange trail towards the east. You can take the straight blue cross trail if you are in a hurry (but it won't save you much time). The optional guided hike on Saturday will be from the camp site, south along the orange trail until you hit the blue trail, northwest along the blue trail until you get to the red trail, then red trail back to the orange trail and the camp site. The whole loop can be done in about 5 hours and I plan on leaving around 9 a.m. Saturday.

I can make this hang. I don't know about getting to the trail head on Friday morning. Maybe I can join you Friday night or Saturday morning. Is the site well marked on the trail or do I have a chance of missing it?
