    First Hike 'n' Hang

Hey everyone. I got back from my first backpacking trip where I used my new claytor (jungle hammock).

It got cold real fast after I set up camp, so sorry no close up pictures of how I hung it. I stayed warm when it got down to freezing. Did have to wake up at 3 AM and put on clothes again though. I am using a Big Agnes Insulated Air Core inside of a Big Agnes sleeping bag(no bottom, the pad makes the bottom) rated for 40 degrees.
I went to the Little Blakely trail in Lake Ouachita State Park, it is 18.6 miles of interconnected loop trails.
I slept so good I dozed right through the sunrise...bummer.
And here's who to look for at the next get together close to me:

Looks like you got plenty of trees to choose from when setting up. The scenry is beautiful. Thanks for the report.

Look at that gorgeous hammock! Why would anyone choose to sleep on the ground when they could have this?! Thanks for the pics, KE.

    Thumbs up Nice

Real nice! I have got to get down to that area sometime soon...Just beautiful scenery!

Are there any hangs being planned in the Arkansas area that I need to know about? I am always looking for an excuse to vacation!

Narwhalin-I'm not sure at the arkansas hangs. You might ask PrechaMan, I know I am ready for one.
Happy Camper-Thanks, I took a set of pictures coming back up to my hammock with water from the stream, and you can't even see it up until 25 feet. It's like Where's Waldo!
