    Bridge weekend

I had been getting all the material together over the last 2 weeks for a hammock for my best friend. At the last minute he decided he wanted a bridge hammock. Its a double layer with grey on the bottom and electric blue on the inside. It is a bit wider than the last one I built but that was what he wanted. I hung it for him last night and he thought it was awesome.

Thank you to all the bridge guys out there who have really fine tuned this hammock into what the Bridge Hammock is today.

You've inspired me, I would really like to try a bridge. As soon as funds allow I'm (really my wife will do most of it) gonna go for it. Great job.

Your hammock looks good. Now you need to do the hard part and add the bug net.

    Nice job, Jazilla.

Just a friendly suggestion. I see in the first two photos that the spreaders are a couple of inches beyond the ends of the hammock. If you are able to tighten up the connection so that the spreaders are closer to the hammock body, that will more effectively broaden the hammock. This should enhance the comfort. It also helps keep the suspension triangles a little shorter which will help to get better tarp coverage from end to end.

I will have to look at shortening the loop with the stopper knot shorter. This hammock is for a small fella so that squeeze shouldn't be a problem but I am very thankful for the advise. Gonna make myself one soon and I'm not such a little guy.
