    Cool HH droopy bug net

I have a 2yr old HH ULB with a bug net that always sags and hits my face. I always thought this was normal, until I got an Expedition. The net stays nice and tight on the Exped.

When I put the Super Shelter on the ULB it is even worse. I have used the Exped so much lately, the ULB is unbearable.

I have read a few threads on bug net issues with the HH. The biggest issues seem to be they cannot be removed.

I tested both of my HH's extensively this weekend; with both a JRB Nest and a SS. The SS tends to make the hammock bunched, and cause the net to sag much more than the Nest.

is the ridgeline tight and the net still sags? if so, it is possible that the ridgeline is too short, possibly a factory error or something.

You can zipper the bugnet and roll it up and secure it to one side. PM me for details.

Yes, I think that is the issue.

Hact, You could measure the RL on the Exped and then make sure the one on the ULB is the same length. Or just get the RL length at the HH web site. If the ULB RL is shorter, you could then cut it and add an extension. Might help.

Though I'm not sure if I am at the exact same length( that was the plan), or a tad longer or shorter, I'm thinking I've had fewer net problems since I cut my line, and added a screw link so that I can disconnect the RL when desired.

Call Hennessy. Bet they'd bee willing to check and retie it for you....they did for me and I admitted to actually SITTING ON THE RIDGELINE (don't ask).

Edit-- I actually figured out how to repair the problem WO HH help but they did offer.
