Looks great! I like the bright colors too. Makes me want to build one now, but what will I do with 5 hammocks? :-)

Very nice work. I gave up on my D.I.Y. WBB couldn't get used to the wall. Chopped off the footbox and shelf. Regrouping on the project. Glad yours turned out so well

I think he's still asleep in it.

Sorry it was a very crazy day and this is the first time I was able to sit down at the computer.

Well the hammock did very well, I like it very much and will not sleep not the ground again. I only had to get out right at the beginning to adjust the suspension as things settled in. Since it was a warm night it took me a bit to finally give in to sleep but I slept most of the night. I used a blue foam pad between the layers for the under installation and a lighter weight mummy sleeping bag for the top quilt. I was awaken at 5:30 in the morning when a good wind storm blew in but I was able to quickly fall back asleep with the gentle swaying of the hammock. When I finally got up several hours later I was well rested and a bit sweety on my back but not to bad.

The only thin I think I would do is add a small pocket either attached on the hammock wall by the shelf or off my ridge line. This pocket would be for my iPod. The shelf is great for the extra clothes but when you toss in the iPod it goes straight to the bottom and the headphone cord isn't that long.

Ha ha. When I got home and gave my report to the family my oldest daughter who is 17 looked at me and frowned and wanted to know when I was going to build her one. Then asked if she could also give the hammock an over night test.
