So I'm home today - wife is at work.
thought what better thing to do at 2:00 than set up the hammock and have an "afternoon test"
I even put on the underquilt - just do dial things in

I climb in and proceed to "test"
well at 2:28 - and my "test" going great - My phone starts ringing.....,
yep I was in a deep sleep and my cell in my pocket woke me up
It was my wife texting me "just seeing what I was up to?"
Well.......I was up to about 20 minutes of nap time...
but let her know I was just about to bring on the summer furniture from the deck and put it in the shed.

I continued the "test" - oh ya! right out 'till 3:15.

chairs and stuff put away now, deck is clear and I feel great.

I just want to know - how come every time I have a hammock nap seems like my wife needs to check in and see "what's up?"

Yeah, I know what you mean. And, for me, it isn't just when I'm in the hammock. If I'm taking a nap, period, I get a phone call. It's gotten to the point where she can tell by my voice that I'd been napping and she offers to call back later. I do love my wife...

don't feel bad Lofty my wife does the same thing even when I'm out camping or hunting. Just when you get back from waking up early and you wanna take that nap and you just get into a deep sleep and RING RING it's the wifey. it should let you know that she's still thinking about you.
