    Optimum tarp for impromptu tent

Is there a tarp that can easily be made into a tent should the situation require?

Gotta say the Kelty 12 makes a really nice apartment sized tent, enough tie-outs you can configure in a lot of cool ways. When winter comes, you got a closed door tarp setup.
.... the Aardvark (earth pig)... a rather unremarkable creature whose sole claim to fame is that it is the first animal listed in the dictionary.

I just got my Superfly and it is a pretty good size tarp. I would say if you set it up lower it would make a decent tent, depending on the weather.

Oldman winter green silnylon by Wilderness Logics and 10' x 12' OES that you can close completely on each end when you have 5 tie downs per side..because the Oldman Winter is cut differently,,it weighs about 5 oz lighter that my 10' x 12' and I really love it moreso with the doors as its way more roomier with the side tie outs and each end shut. Take them both down to the ground,,and you have an enclosed tent.
