Because it is fat and looks like a rocket cone (at least in my imagination)!
I am guessing no one would ever want to wear it in an urban area or when going out unless it is a [put a regular description of Shug in here] just coming back from the wild backcountry in freezing winter. The Fatrocket lofts up to 3cm thick vertical channels, is filled with 20g 700 cuin European rated down, has an extra 8cm wide piece of stretch fleece inside for comfy snugged up ears and weighs 43.6g!
Wear the FRDB only if your ears do not tend to go up in flames...
