    Talking Another happy Burrow owner!

Well, my new 20º Burrow arrived today, in fact, about 20 minutes ago! Whooo Hooo! It was eveything I had hoped for and more. I do like the velco closure at the bottom. Can't wait to try it out.

Hammock Gear makes some great kit. I have a few underquilts of theirs but hope to add a burrow soon enough.

I have several TQ's and UQ's from Hammock Gear (plus a sewn through Burrow on the way) and they are all of top notch quality.

Enjoy the new Burrow all and the warm cozy downy goodness it has to offer.

My 20*'Burrow arrived yesterday. I purchased mine during the 20% off sale a few weeks back. Very happy with my purchase. I posted a unboxing video yesterday.

A couple of points to add here.

First I ordered the long with 1 oz of overstuff, knowing that this would add to the weight. The quilt weighs in at 23.5 oz, which is more than I would have expected. But that was a choice, and one I am not ultimately unhappy with. When I lay in the burrow, I can still pull quilt over my head (even if loosly). Compared to the Kelty Light Year it is replacing, it is an astounding improvement.

Coupled with a 20° Incubator, this will keep me tosty in temps as cold as I am likely to experience. Having learned what I have on other threads, I may one day replace this Incubator with one containing 1 or 2 oz of 900 fill overstuff (mine was made with 800 fill and no overstuff). Of course I could pass the original on to my son. He might like that.

I can say the fit and finish of this product is superb, but everyone here knows that. In fact, I don't think I have ever had anyone complain that the quality of any product from Hammock Gear was anything less than spectacular!

I was looking forward to hanging in the backyard this weekend, but with lows in the mid 60s, There is just no way I can hang out with this in those conditions. Here's to praying for a cold snap at the end of October.

I was right, conditions were just too warm to hang out with the burrow. However, I have a scheduled campout this weekend, and temps are suposed to be in the mid-to-low 50s. This is too cold for my "summer" fleece, so it looks like I will get to try out the burrow after all.

Can't wait! I will be sure to give it an accurate report.

lower 50's will be better than the mid 60's.
this past friday night I was out in my yard - I think it got to a low of 61.
I was wearing shorts & a tank top - 3 season yeti for UQ, 3 season Burrow TQ & woke up sweating

    enjoy!
