A fine piece of craftsmanship it is.

You can imagine my excitement, when I saw the delivery van pull up in the driveway today, with a tiny box, that weighs next to nothing.

The 20F Burrow, feels very light. The wind almost took it away when I placed it on the table out the backyard.

The thickness is less than my -4 degrees celsius down sleeping bag and yet this quilt is rated to -7 celcius. Must be the 900 goose down. Is 900 down more efficient?

Exactly. Down from mature geese that is more full/fluffy and can trap more air/heat. Lighter, yet more $$ as dem' geese do not give up the feathers cheaply!

Looks cool Phil. I could have done without the scratchy box opening though

What's your shelter/sleep system weight now?

Sometimes I like to hike and think, And sometimes I just like to hike.

Hiking is'ent about waiting for the storm to pass its about learning to hike in the rain.

The weather's starting to warm up here,
I must go on a little hike this weekend at the mountains an hours drive away and look for some cold weather, so I can get a opportunity to lay inside my brand new Burrow Top Quilt before the next cold season.
