Nice looking work.
Looks like it will be a warm TQ, really like the color as well.

Is it just square and able to be tied up? Looks great!
It's a 72" x 48" rectangle with a shock cord synch to wrap up the foot end. I added some loops and ties to secure the footbox area.
It's warm, however I am not sure what temperature rating... I'll have to take this car camping before I trust it all to backpacking.
I'd hope to handle 20's with this setup and my 300 weight fleece sleep gear, wool socks, and a wool hat.
Thanks for the feeback guys!

nice looking quilt!
Where did you source your fabric and insulation from?

That is a fine looking quilt you have there.
I'm not sure if it's the exact same material or not, but the climashield I got about 5 years ago for a BSA project was rated at 20 degrees with two layers. Mine was shaped more like a Ray Jardine style quilt and a little shorter so it comes in right at 16 oz. not including a silnylon stuff sack. I have never been cold in it yet, however when I winter hike I bring along a liner and underquilts that my buddies refer to as "diapers".
Happy Trails to one and all.
Enjoy the outdoors wisely and elevate your perspective.

Single layer of the 5oz/sqyd. The insulation is only through sewn at the head and foot area. Kinda makes a poof ball when stuffing it, but I didn't want to over engineer the thing.
When i pair it with my underquilt, some fleece clothing, socks, hat, etc that I should be comfortable in the lower 30's.
