    Smile Gear Workshop

Finally decided to get organized, clean up the basement and setup a better gear workshop for sewing, splicing and making gear in general. The sewing machine is a Brother CE-5000PRW. An old HP computer, LCD monitor and speakers provide critical access to Hammock Forums and music via Slacker Radio. The iPad is there because I can't seem to go anywhere without it . It's hard to tell from the picture but the sewing table is about a foot away from the wall to allow fabric to drop over the edge as I sew.

So, what does your workspace look like?

    Looks really good!

My dining room typically becomes my workshop . I definitely need my own room for just my gear and other hobby stuff alone.

Very nice set up Knotty! Clean. I am always interested in seeing the work areas of people - can be inspiring!

Knotty, that is a sweet space for sure. Makes me green with envy. It would take me quite a while just to think about how to organize everything to get it in that shape. You give us something to aspire to!

You all should have seen my space before I got organized. Notice that I only show the 'after' picture.

On one of the woodworking forums that I am on, we always poke fun at the people with super clean workshops that they do no actual work in them.

Great looking space you've got there.

    Cheers
