A campfire and a DIY hammock and a Forest Service campground all to yourself...that's what it's all about, right?

Looks like you have a good lake back there behind you, If you had a fish on the grill that would make it pura vida. :-) Nice photo, ahhhhhh Solitude.
I thought the Hokey Pokey is what it was all about. Hmmm that may be a great group hang game. Hammock hokey pokey.
Look up before you hook up!!

Yes, hokey pockey 1st, then hammocks. ;-)
This was at McCormack Lake near Alton, Missouri. New low in Forest Service toilets, you can't say you have camped until your try this one! Imagine a hole in the ground with a plywood floor. Four posts with 1x6 boards vertical, alternated inside and outside but with gaps big enough to see through. No roof, no door, plastic box pottie, of course no paper but there once was and it was stored in a Folgers can. Looked like someone tried to use it standing up and missed, more than once!
Love this place though, there's even a spur trail that connects to the Ozark Trail. Must be a monster fish in the lake, I heard it splashing all night.
Not to highjack your thread....but this was taken this weekend at Sardis Lake in MS
My memory's not as sharp as it used to be. Also, my memory's not as sharp as it used to be.
looks like you had a great time in the outdoors by yourself
