Hey All,

First, thanks to everyone who has answered my (sometimes stupid) UQ questions to date. I'm almost ready to start sewing (), but wanted to make sure I had my calcs correct and bounce an additional question off of the group. The plan is to make a 43"WX77"L (seam allowances excluded) UQ with 9 longitudinal baffles. Planned loft is 4.5". Planned finished baffle height is 3.5". Based on these numbers, and using the calcs from Meteor's awesome spreadsheet (http://www.hammockforums.net/forum/s...ad.php?t=38134) I come up with the following:

Width inner fabric (toward hammock): 43.00
Length inner fabric (toward hammock): 77.00
Width outer fabric (away from hammock): 60.38
Length outer fabric (away from hammock): 84.00
Baffle spacing for inner fabric: 4.78
Baffle spacing for outer fabric: 5.93
Outside chamber width inner fabric: 8.28
Outside chamber width outer fabric: 9.43

For 4.5" of loft, I calculate ~20 ounces of down needed (~2.2oz per chamber), which gives ~10% overstuff.

All of this seems quite clear, but I wanted to check if any of this looked off to any of you who are more experienced. Also, does anyone know what is meant by "Outside Chamber Width"? Wouldn't the chanber width match the baffle spacing?

Thanks for reading this long and painful post.
