I just set up my hammock and am ready to sleep up in the tree tonight. I'll be filming it as well and we'll post it up tomorrow. But, we're supposed to be getting some more rain tonight which should make it more fun.

Nice set of photos, like the safety. It looks like a pal on a separate tree would be a good option for set up. You should visit Oregon (just visit, then go) to see big tree's. But, bring the 12' tree straps.

Thank you and believe me I wish I could visit Oregon. Actually I would be happy to visit any place that required 12' tree straps!

You don't have to go that far. The tulip poplars in my back yard no longer accept 6' huggers as they are now over 8' around. Tulip poplars grow pretty quickly as my 6' huggers did work three years ago.

The suspended hammock brings back memories of bad nights sleeping in port-o-ledges when mountain climbing. There's just something about knowing that one bad roll will result in an 300 meter drop.

Yeah I bet the stones for the fire ring just fall out of the branches.
