I feel like I will fall out of my WBBB

Disclaimer: I just started hanging and I've hung my WBBB only twice.

When I lay in my WBBB, the "side wall" on the zipper side of the hammock does not come up very high, barely above my shoulder, then it stops being supportive. While on my right shoulder the "side wall" is well above my face, it is tight and steep.

    Am I explaining it OK?
It's like the cradling part of the hammock is like a bath tub , but my WBBB bath tub is rotated along the ridge line and about to dump me out the zipper side.

Is this caused by how the hammock was wrapped on each end? Or am I doing something wrong?

Your input is much appreciated by this newbie.

Your size and weight? Fabric type/weight on the WBBB? How far apart are your anchor points (aka trees)? Watch the videos on the WB site to see if you have the right slack in the hang/ridgeline tension and general usage ( http://warbonnetoutdoors.com/setup.php ). The wrap at the ends won't change much, but tension and the general geometry of the setup might. Or just shift to the middle a bit.

I can picture the problem....but having a hard time imaging the root cause.
When you are not in the hammock, does it appear to be level?
Have you tried shifting yourself inside the hammock to move further away the left wall?

It is normal for a WBBB to have a high wall of fabric on one side. This is the result of having a footbox. The other side doesn't come up very high, but I have never had the feeling that I would fall out.

Could the hammock be stretched too tight? Sounds like maybe that is the problem.

I'm 6'-5", 220 lbs. The WBBB is 1.7 double layer like it says under my portrait . My SRL is still the way it came which is about 96" from measured to the tops of the gathered ends where the RL attaches.
When I set up my WBBB I could twist my SRL about 90 degrees with my fingers.
I will view the setup videos again, see if there is anything I missed.

I have tried the hammock level and with the foot end 6-8 inches higher which I liked better.

I will give that a shot. I shifted around a bit last night but didn't notice much difference. I will spend more time tweaking my lay.

So maybe I just have to get used to it, after I find the best combo of hammock setup and position in the hammock.

Sounds like you hung it correctly. I never had the feeling of falling out. The non-shelf side is definitely lower but I still have to lift my head up to look over it. I am 6'1" 190lbs and have a WBBB 1.1 dbl. I also lay mostly right between the shelf and the non-shelf side so I don't get right up on the wall of the hammock. Still at a diagonal though. I also pull the shelf and non-shelf tieouts relatively tight. Not so tight I don't sway a little but tight enough to really open up the hammock.

I have my head right up against the bug netting. In fact, one problem I have is the mini biner from my quilt pressing into my forehead. I never felt like I was going to tip out. After you get on the diagonal, make sure any extra fabric on the zipper side is pulled up and not under your shoulder. Not sure if that makes sense, but it does in my head.

When you lay on diagonal make sure you shift your butt over toward shelf side and pull material from under your butt toward zipper side. Your face may still be above zipper but this gives great view and fresh air, and you will have plenty of material above your lower torso and hip to keep you in hammock. Also if you roll onto your side make sure you adjust your butt again toward shelf side as you roll so you don't roll out.
