Well lucky for me I have a proficient sewer for a wife so I just did the cutting and pinning and handed it over so it was Problaby a good 1.5 hrs but if I sewed it myself would have been a half a day and a smashed sewing machineOriginally Posted by raiffnuke

I did just that with an old REI Down bag...
cutting the zipper and heavy draft collar out saved about 8oz.
Instead of GG edging, I left one side of the fabric long and rolled a hem...
