Thanks for the welcome! I forgot that the heat is on the same side of the room as the hammock so maybe once I actually turn it on for the winter I'll be ok. And I'll keep a fleece blanket nearby until I can afford a proper underquilt (because yes I definitely want one for camping next year and I am not at all crafty enough to make my own, even with some of the excellent instructions out there )

I use an old rectangular sleeping bag with rocks in the corners tied to 550. Then that's hooked to my TL stand with bungee cords. Works good for me.

I have an insulated blanket that I use over the top of me. If it's 50 in my room while I'm sleeping, I'm a happy hammocker. If it's warmer then 75 I have a fan blowing across the hammock to cool me off.

I kinda sleep hot. Moving to a hammock was an attempt at saving on electricity during the summer when it's hard to get my corner of the house under 85 degrees until the we time of night. I can comfortably lay in the hammock with a fan on me. In a bed I'm a sopping mess.

I use an under quilt year round with my Brazilian. The UQ was easy to make using a cheap down throw.
