Mine is the industrial strength model, and as expected so far it appears to be bomb proof.

It's a very tough pack. I modified my MollyMac Front Pack with aluminum stays attached to the hip belt so it manages the load almost like an Aarn pack, but it's a great pack without any mods.

The only problem with mine is it's not getting used enough. With cooler weather I hope to change that.

Though I don't have one, I am totally sold on the Molly Mac Pack; the more I look into it, the more I like what I see--and I've done a lot of looking into it (seen all of Rat's videos on youtube (several times) and have cruised just about every hiking, backpacking, rock climbing, or arborist forum that has even the slightest mention of this pack). I'm not really in a position to acquire a new pack, and my mid 1990's Kelty Ridgeway that I have absolutely refuses to die anyway. One of these days, however, I WILL own one: brilliant design (modular and near instant accessibility of gear), moderately lightweight, durable, and top notch customer service... what's not to love?

The day I run into some expendable income, that mid 1990's Kelty Ridgeway is going to have an unforeseen and highly unfortunate accident ("Honey, it was the strangest thing: while I was out hiking, the waist-belt and both shoulder-straps of my old backpack simultaneously snapped, and the pack fell off of a 3,000 foot cliff... into a wood chipper... which, uh... exploded." (stranger things have happened )).

You're awesome brother, but I could never live with myself if anything were to happen to you because you put yourself in harm's obliterating way in my behalf. I look forward to reading many more of your posts, and know how difficult it is to post when both of your arms have been pulled out of their sockets. No, you definitely deserve better!
