Any known cures?

Hello all. I discovered HF while browsing youtube trying to find alternative or DIY methods for making a shelter above my craddle. Lets just say Shug made an impression. It is awesome to have a place where so much knowledge and experience has gathered.

I live in Charlotte, NC with my wife and 2 kiddos. (someday I hope to develop a system that allows me hang with all 3) My wife and I are transplants from the Twin Cities 7 years ago. I am a firefighter with the Gastonia, NC. When I am not at work, training or spending time with family, I am working on or spending time in the western NC or BWCA back country.

In the future I hope to bring some of my own knowledge about wilderness rescue/rope rescue to the art of hanging.

No cure, just a hammock at a time acceptance.

Welcome to HF... I am sure you will find what you are looking for here.. I know that I have found this to be the go to place for everything hammock and pretty much our style of camping.
I too have had a mark placed on my hammock camping soul by Shug and some of the others that make major contribution to this site.
Anyways... enjoy!
Oh.. and the cure... Just get out and do it!
