i often find myself just reading thread after thread and i really enjoy reading DIY threads as there are always great tips and tricks. I normally use the search function to try and locate a thread with info for the next protect but i find i often subscribe to many threads with the same topic and it's sometimes hard to put all that info into one place.
at work we've got this knowledge base which has a database for all of the stuff we design. i thought it would be a neat idea to have 1 thread that contained everyone's DIY projects that want to participate.
a couple things would make this info of sharing easier. in the title of your post - try to be specific as to what it is. this way, people can just scroll pretty fast through and just read titles. it will also help if someone searches. it would be nice if you did a write up in a doc or pdf, i like these for printing purposes so i can have it next to me rather than my computer. maybe just a single or couple photo's of the finished product and that's about it.
if it's a bad idea,...delete the thread but i thought it would be a cool idea where you could go to one place and find all the printable material you needed or we could just get scott to put them all on his site.
