The Sales are Killing Me

All these Black Friday sales are killing me.

I am trying to save my money, but I am having a hard time staying strong. This forum is heck on my pocketbook.

I won't buy, I won't buy, I won't buy.... but those darn UQ and TQ's are so nice and I bet they are so downy soft, I won't buy, I won't buy, but they are lighter then what I have, I'm growing weaker and weaker......

put down the keyboard and back away from the internet...go outback and hang your gear for a nice nap; in a few hours this will all be over.

I AGREE, this is killing me. I plan on purchasing a few items. Then i browse around other vendors and want more and more from each!

i got some rope, no biggie, but i almost pulled the trigger on hammock gears cuben tarp yesterday. phew, i barely dodged that one!

Started out thinking that I would order a Tad Pole from Wilderness Logics. Was planning that since the announcement of a sale. And I did order.

Then comes along Mr Adam and Mrs Jenny- and the Hammock Gear sale

. When I first saw the sale page- I was going to order both a 40 deg Burrow and Phoenix as both were showing a sale price. After just a few minutes and to the checkout- I found that they were not included, so as not to miss out a great deal now I have a 20 Deg Phoenix coming

Last weekend I had the chance to use a Fiskars Axe, and now need- well want one. On sale at Amazon. Now I am broke, but will have new gear to play with in a few weeks

My credit cards are smoking....My wife went out last night (this morning) to attempt to face the crazies at the various Black Friday sales. She came home stressed out and pretty pissed off. So, rather than fight the crowds this Christmas is arriving via UPS/USPS. As many good sales as I found I ultimately only ended up with a pair of hiking poles for myself. My other ones are over 15 years old so I figure it was time for an upgrade.
