Brand new HH Expedition and over/undercover

I bought 2 Expedition Asyum Classics a couple years back for me and my wife but my wife never used hers.
Up for sale is a brand new with the tags still on, HH Expedition Asyum Classic.
This hammock has never been set up and still in it's sack. It comes with a new set of snake skins, the standard HH tarp and the 4' tree straps..

I have a undercover and a overcover that is also brand new and never used with the stuff sack for $100 ( on hold for AmericasHammock)
The underpad is not included because I used it on mine.

I have a couple of questions though: is that tarp attached to the hammock ? I already have a tarp, but last time I was really cold and was thinking that though ground dwelling made my back, hips and shoulder sore, the "closed" system of a tent was a lot warmer. I often go where I have no trees, so use turtlelady's bamboo stand, which makes the tarp go way to high up. On top of that I only have a diy UQ and it's not extremely warm, especially not without the "heating up of a closed airbubble" like in a tent (I was really shivering when it hit 0°c ). So maybe it would be a good thing that I can almost close off the hammock and crawl in from below it. Btw, I'm not sure what an under- and overcover are for, is that something like an UQ ?
