mammoth cave hangout trip report and photo's

we met at the visitors before 2:30 pm we waited an hour,we never saw big e
we left a note in the backcontry permit office were we would be camping for the weekend.we brought enough hot dogs and stuff for somemores to feed an army, only 4 people at the hangout, rigidpsycho, neo, tatersalade and jack rabbitt,we had a great weekend,it did rain a little friday nite and saturday but nothing heavy,we camped at collie ridge campsite friday and saturday nite, next april we plan on doing it again but at 2nd creek campsite,it would have been nice if big e had let us know he was not coming so we would not have wasted an hour waiting on him.all in all it was a great trip. neo

I plan on making next year. This just wasn't a good time and I really thought it would rain all weekend anyhow. It's shouldn't be but around 3 hours or so for me.
This brings a whole new meaning to the question
    "How's it hangin?"
