Spent the afternoon restoring my newly acquired 1953 Singer 201K - man is it awesome?! Wouldn't turn this morning - now sews beautifully. Feeling suitably chuffed

It is a great feeling to bring those old machines back to life.
They really are incredible works of a combination of art and engineering. It is nice to actual use something that doesn't feel so disposable as most of today's "tools."
