Dale Gribble: I'm thinking, "new hammock." For me, laying and swaying in a hammock is like a steady morphine drip without the risk of renal failure.

Randy : yea but just remember yer roots and where ya come from....you got Hennessy in yer blood son......

Diva, wed love to have you and your crew down! it was 100x's drier than Grayson and we even had some kids close to your boys age there in Captain Smileys crew. Fishing could be done as well as some gator sightings.

I WILL be reserving the site asap for next year!

I am really happy I had a chance to attend another HF group hang. I was able to meet new people and see new gear. My kids had a great time and played hard. I was able to see someone evolve from a net style hammock to a WBBB, and I was able to field test some new gear. Please forgive me for not posting the picks here but you can see and read about this event from my POV ----> HERE.

I had a GREAT time and would definitely go back to Santee State Park. Thanks for all the work you put into making this hang happen Rev.

It's been a crazy week, so I'm behing in posting pics, but here are a few more.

Chickenwing and his youngest, with Reynolds and Elliott looking on.

I even got to hold little Emma for a while.

Kryptonite, Chickenwing's eldest, and the other kids had a blast playing on this jungle-jim of a root system.

Rev takes a peek at Chickenwing's not-so-stealth hammock.

    Chickenwing gave a spilcing demonstration.

Rev popped up some corn Saturday night.

    Sunday morning was beautiful.

I took my chair down by the water to soak up some warmth.

    'Twas fun,
    Chris
