    Is this enough?

I have 2 pieces of 1.9 DWR 66" wide. One is 8 feet, one is 3 feet.
Is this enough to make a small mac-cat type tarp? Any instructions?

    Thanks,

no... you need more and ripstop is no good for a tarp DWR is just a coating
you need Silnylon for a tarp
a ripstop tarp would be ok in winter with snow maybe a light rain.. but in a downpour your not going to be a happy camper trust me on that
It puts the Underquilt on it's hammock ... It does this whenever it gets cold

    Well sotaram.

If you are looking for something along the size of the MacCat Micro (120"x60"), it would be feasible. You would have to attach the 3' piece to the 8' piece to make a 11' long x 66" wide piece of fabric. Then you could do the DIY silnylon treatment if you so inclined.

If you do decide to make a tarp of that size, take pictures of the process and post them when you are done.

    Cheers

    Brian
