Ok, I should have checked Hennessy's website before asking that last question. Here is the order information for others who are interested.
    "To order, email [email protected], phone(toll free 1 888 539 2930 in North America, 1 250 539 2930 internationally) or fax (1-250-539-5390)."

For hmmk veterans already with a closet of rain-flys and nets (or real winter), this sale started with over twenty of HH's largest hammocks, the Safari Classic, for just $49 each!!

In brief, is the velcro-sealed bottom entry on those easily made permanent, making these conventional side entry?

How are those flys? I really need to drop the hammer and get a fly. $29 seems almost too good to be true?

Yes, it can be done, in fact I know 2QZQ would do it for you. As I look at it to run up and down the velcro while it is closed to make it permanent would make it fixed and that would be simple. If you already have the machine and the right thread it should be a cheap and easy job. However, I don't think it is necessary to do that. Many people send of bottom entries to have a 2QZQ zipper mod and do not have the bottom sewn up. You can use one of these without needing to mod it, they really don't open unless you work to open them, your weight keeps it closed. But then again that is just my opinion take it for what its worth (which ain't much). PS I bought one of these to use as a side entry on my porch and will not be modifying it in any way, 49 bucks for this hammock is almost stealing!

Most of these items are 1 only. One way to find out if they still have it, call or email.

I talked to one of the reps and they said the hex fly with blast doors was the 1st to go, and they had received hundreds of inquiries on it. Maybe something they might want to think about producing....
