There was an Old Man with a owl,
Who continued to bother and howl;
He sat on a rail, And imbibed bitter ale,
Which refreshed that Old Man and his owl.WOO
G'day Wise Old Owl,
If we grow too tall there's always someone willing to cut us down....
glad you enjoyed the post.
Cheers mate.
Great report and pics ofuros; thanks for posting! Nice brownies, too! Australia doesn't get nearly the same amount of angling press as your Kiwi neighbors. Sure would love to make it down there someday to hang and chuck bugs at some wily southern hemisphere trout.
“Simplicity in all things is the secret of the wilderness and one of its most valuable lessons. I think the matter of simplicity goes further than just food, equipment, and unnecessary gadgets; it goes into the matter of thoughts and objectives as well. When in the wilds, we must not carry our problems with us or the joy is lost.” -Sigurd Olson
Nice Trip report mate, fishing and hanging, like it.
I have been in Ebor about two month ago, and visited all the waterfalls along the way to Armidale where all our Fire Brigade training is done. I had snow in Armadal and had to scratch windows in the morning. Coldest I had since I left Europe!
Thanks Flangler,
Shhhh...Thats the way we like it. I'm sure you'll find time to make it down under one day, there will always be a trout here with your name on it...
Cheers Holger,
It can be a wild & windy area if a icy cold front blasts through.
I love it.There's lots of National Parks & state forests to explore, get lost in & camp in.
