i just did a flat felled seam. i got 8 yards of 65in wide i think and i just cut the fabric in half making 2 4yd pieces and seamed them together and added triangle reinforcements on anywhere there will be a pullout and used 1in grosgrain for pullouts

sure did with 100% silicone and mineral spirits couldnt of been easier just painted it on the RL though and only put it on the underneath so that way it still looks good

I've been looking to make a tarp and yours is exactly what I want to make. A tarp with doors. Where did you get the plans? How big of a tarp do I need for a HH Expedition? Any tips? Thanks...

Good job, nice and roomy, just the way I like them.

I think most of us stayed dry under our tarps during that rain storm (Grayson Sept hang), it was getting up to break down camp that I got soaked.

Maybe we get a chance to meet again at another hang.

Did you finish that bracelet you were making during the Grayson hang ?

well i didnt really use any plans i just did the math and the silnylon i bought was roughly 5.5ft wide and i knew i wanted a 12ft ridge line so i just bought 8yrds of sil cut it in half flat seamed the two pieces together cut the reinforced tieouts sewed them on top of the corners and anywhere a tie out would go "i used triangle shaped support areas" then did a roll seam all the way around the tarp and sewed 1in grograin for the tieout spots and then made a set of tarp tensioners then took the idea of thinning out 100% silicone "clear" with mineral spirits and turned the tarp upside down and used a lil paint brush to paint the silicone on the flat seam "3 coats at least". and let it dry and thee ya go
