Good job Blue. Way to go developing those skills!

Thanks, I guess it will be easier with Amsteel in a larger size.
Why thank you, Redoleary.
It was a challenge as they say.
It will be fun.
Yes it is hard to count the lines to taper on Zing-It.
Thanks GrayDog, I used an old electric guitar string I saved from my son's last restringing job. I found that is sharper to use than .24 guage florist wire.
Hey richtorfla, thanks.
SilvrSurfr, That is a great idea ......Maybe not though...my wife thinks I am already a little strange....this might prove it to her.
How?
I can barely get it through the first two pass throughs...how did you don the bury?
What did you use? Dental floss?
I tapered the end of the Zing-it and passed a small guitar string through the line and then repeated. I then put the guitar string up through the middle of the Zing-it, caught the tapered end again. i started to pull it through but found it easier to hold the guitar string end with a pair of needle nose pliers, much easier on the hands that way. It takes quite a bit of force to start the bury but it gets easier. Milk the line over the inserted line and you are done.
I hope this makes sense and helps you
Hey GrayDog,
Any small wire will do, the brake cable wire sounds like it will work great also.

cool stuff buddy!!
pretty impressed that you actually tapered the 1.75...i don't bother to taper 1.75 or 2.2
Outstanding craftsmanship.
