I made a Facebook page for FL hangers that are on FB. It will be a place for announcements where you can get notifications that will let you know when there is a hang somewhere in FL. I still haven't finished getting it all together.

Please post here also, I don't do facebook. Just read an e-mail from my AC man, whom I need to speak to, 'check us out on facebook'. Gave him a call and got a recording! That's why I like to go to hangs, to talk to people.

The more channels we use, the better. The more we get the word out, the more people we'll reach. It's all good!
That said... I don't do Facebook. (so I just asked Gumbo to do it for me)

No worries... I wasn't planning on only using FB for announcements. I think this forum is better for the announcement and planning but I see FB as a good resource for people to have announcements pushed out to them. You can have the FB posts automatically sent to your phone as a text message or an email. That way you don't run the risk of missing the notice if you happen to be away for a little while or the post gets buried during heavy post traffic.
