    No, it's that when I ordered the webbing, i had never really liked how small the 1" slapstraps I used before because I could tell that they cut into some trees with softer wood, so I got the 1.5" just to be on the safe side as far as tree/bark health goes.

    That's the best reason I can think of. There will be a 1.5" in the future.

    Stretchy 1" nylon slapstraps will cut into wood... non-stretch 1" polyester webbing, not.

    Awesome! I ordered 2 sets as well, but I have to ask......why wasn't there a plug for the Dutch Clips in the commercial

    Big Turtle doesn't own a set
    You could use one, but the Dutch clip was really designed to be a disconnection point. With the buckle, you really have that disconnection. I would still use one for conveinence though.
