Looks like I have fallen in with the right crowd. I prefer to hang together than hang separately.

For "ya'll" on the south side of the River in Kan-Tuck-Kee...thats the Appalachian Plateaus province.

The Olentangy/Scioto interfluviate ridge is north of Columbus, Ohio. I prefer to orient myself by the landscape rather than those slippery politicial divisions. Those are just lines on the map people made up. A drainage basin is a more enduring frame of reference. Besides, it sounds a heck of a lot more interesting.

I found this band of merry-makers through my daughter who participates in the Ohio Ren Fest - who met Doctari there. I hope to meet him tomorrow when I visit the event.

Thanks for the friendly welcome - I think its my turn to buy a round of drinks.
    Cheers!
    Mike

Greetings from just above the Coastal Piedmont fall line. Nice idea about using the hammock on your sailboat. Now you've got me wondering how to rig a hammock aboard my little Victoria 18!
