KSC, That is some good stuff. It looks like winter is there!!! Ice on the pond makes it tough get water though... Glad you had a good test and I am looking forward to giving it go in the Ruby's this spring.

Thanks for all your kind words everyone. Taking beautiful pictures is easy if you have the right scenery.

I didn't take my down jacket and I wished I had. I will try that next time I go along with have a little something better to put under my feet.

I don’t blame you one little bit for not wanting to get out of your hammock to get the camera. I have trouble doing that when it’s 50F! I wouldn’t have gotten out of the car! lol It’s amazing how the trees can have all that ice on them and not fall over. VERY nice photos! The deep blue sky with the white hill is a great mix.
A little bit of the snow would fall off through out the night and I could hear it hitting my tarp. There was no big chunks that came down thank goodness. If it had warmed up or the wind had blown hard all the snow would come off.

Looking forward to you hiking with me next season. I was catching 12" rainbow out of these lakes last year. I didn't try it this time.

One of these lakes was frozen and the other was not. I think the deeper lake takes longer to freeze.
