G’day all and thanks for having me here. I am a total noob when it comes to hanging, and I’m glad to have you all around to make my life a little easier. I am about a week away from receiving my first hammock, a Blackbird 1.1 double layer with a mamajamba tarp. I decided to give hanging a try, as most of my walking is in the Blue Mountains, NSW Australia (as I am lucky enough to live there) where there is an abundance of trees and not so many flat camping sites. All going well I will get the BB hung up in the back yard for a trial run real soon.
I better start learning how to tie knots.
