So this is an update on my DIY bridge hammock that I put together. I got the endcaps and bug net installed, following the basic method shown in Grizz's video series.







I screwed up a little on the bug net, and got the interior ridgeline off-center.. but as you can see, it seems to be holding up OK.. Hasn't dropped me yet, anyway.

The next step is to make a UQ; I'm thinking of just using a few layers of Insultex in a rectangular pattern with shock cord at the edges to help keep it pulled up tight. Any thoughts/comments?
