To answer a couple questions that Canteen Boy asked:
I am not in the hammock in the above picture, when I was the UQ fit snug against me. You are also able to adjust how snug it fits, where it is positioned along the hammock and the ends can be cinched up more or less using the shockcord and cord locks on each end.
Also I sewed the end of the shockcord with reinforcement to the inside of one end on each end channel so you only have to adjust from one side of the UQ. This featured seemed to be important to people when I was in the planning stages and I am glad I did it that way, made adjusting a cinch.
