Wanted! MEC Hut Booties help

I'd dearly like some Mountain Equipment Co-op Hut booties in XL size. New or used.

The shipping price from MEC is out of this world-they want $50 CAD!

By the time they get here, they will probably cost me over $140 for a pair of $35 booties

I can't find any for sale from other vendors.

Any help appreciated

Hey Pete; The $50 probably includes insurance and tracking. I have a pair of the high tops. I think you could get them sent for $20 air. Unfortunately i don't live near an MEC . I'm hoping to get to Calgary before the snow flies. If i do i can help you out.

I feel your pain as I've done this for another friend in the U.K. before. If you'd like, I'll be able to pick you up a pair on Monday and send them to you via post. Just let me know what colours you'd prefer in order of preference in case they have a limited supply in stock. If you can get someone here to help you out, that's ideal, but I know that MEC periodically does free shipping deals, especially around the holidays. But I don't know if that's Canada or North America only.
