I definitely wouldn't sew anything to the hammock body. What you could try is Velcro with industrial-strength adhesive backing. Put that on your hammock and then the other side onto the bottom of your pad. I doubt it'll hold up for long with folding/packing the hammock. I got a 25"-wide Thermarest ccf pad and so far, so good. It's so wide I'm not worrying about slipping off it. It holds the sides of the hammock out, too.

heh.... I knew I couldn't be thw only one whose pad slipped aroung on them. I went out for the night last night and put my inflatable in the hammock. Stupid thing ended up crosswise. I'm a thrasher and roller. Gotta try some of these ideas.

HH website suggests a reflective windshield screen in the hammock. I put that between my underquilt and the hammock. At least it did not go all skew-gee on me but I noticed it did move during the night.
I may be slow... But I sure am gimpy.

Just put lines of silicone on the bottom of your pad.

i used a speer 1/4" pad. i got the 40" wide stuff. cut it in the spape of a light bulb. 5 ' at longest point, 40" at other. put clothes in bottom of hammock. got down to 45 degrees with 40 degree bag. ( i went to bed without it, 1am i put it in and slept to 6am snug as a bug) i toss and turn . it did not move. i now have a jrb nest. i want to try it between that and hammock this winter.

Has anyone tried this? think it's a lame idea?
    Thanks
