I just got back from a weekend there, although we stayed on the Kentucky side the entire time. If you are on the fence about this trip, I highly recommend that you make it if you can, the area is absolutely beautiful and oh so peaceful.

Great to have you. This is merely a hike, not a competition. This will be my second hike here, and I know this will be the first visit for others.

OK , we have commitments from:

    Ewker
    Hamhocker
    hangout
    Medicine Man
    Roche

That was what I thought as well. looks like I'll need to use my 25 mile socks instead of my 16 mile socks.

    basic loop is 26.7 miles
    shortest loop is 21.9
    longest loop is 33.4

all depends on what you want to add or leave off.

It's all good to me. I just have to resist the lure of catching some small mouth with my tenkara.

Sorry boys, I was thinking of an average of 8 miles a day.

Does anyone know of a fine eating establishment in the area for a few wholesome individuals? Or better yet, a greasy spoon for hangers?

There's a diner on the southeast side of the intersection of Hwy 27 and Hwy 63. I think it is called Flonies? The milkshakes seemed pretty good last time i dropped by.
