    SB Shoulder Squeeze

Anyone else feel like it's a little narrow? My frame is pretty average (6', 180) but I feel like the hammock walls squeeze my shoulders.

Tieouts didn't make much difference. Adding more sag helps, but defeats the SB flatness and <30-deg SB rule.

    I get no shoulder squeeze. I'm 5'9" 180#
Are you getting a flat lay?
    Are you laying asym?
Maybe you're head is to close to the gathered end?
    My hammock angle is 20-25degrees

I am 6'-1" and 195 pounds and have never gotten a hint of shoulder squeeze. And, I do string it pretty tight. I love that flat lay.

Do you have the original or the lighthiker? Mine is the original which is about 8" longer than the lighthiker.

6' 200#... I notice that the hammock is a bit narrower than my WBBB, but I don't feel squeeze.

Thanks for the input. I enjoy the TTTG section here because you guys are great about feedback.

I did a few more hangs and the shoulder squeeze is getting better, although not completely gone. One issue might be that I'm getting used to the 1.9dbl which has very little sag. Because of not close to the max weight, I'm not accustom to the firmness (or support) of the fabric. Instead of stretching.... I get a squeezing feel. I'm a side sleeper part of the time so I wanted a really good flat lay however.

FWIW, I'm hanging at about 22-24deg, laying asym (head only slightly).

Of my two WBBB and SB, I would say that I get less squeeze in the SB. My SB is a SL and there is a lot of stretch, which took a little getting used to setting it up to counter the stretch. I am 5'11 and 230 so I'm on the upper end of the limit for SL, but it stretches with my wife also, at 140. I will be ordereing a DL in the near future, and will see if that makes a difference in shoulder squeeze or not.

Wow- that's what I love about my SB- zero shoulder squeeze. I'm 6'1 300# Had too much squeeze in my BB, and the "switch" has been a godsend for me.
