The Palmetto Trail-The Wateree Passage Hammock Hang

Hey Guys,

I have another cool trip to share from this weekend. As an avid hiker/hammocker , I am always looking for the perfect place to hang. Last weekend, I hiked 4 miles of one of my favorite trails, The Wateree Passage of the Palmetto Trail in Pineville, SC.

As you look at the pictures, understand that this was done in an area known as the Wateree Swamp!!! So I found a spot right under a train Trestle and had some good times with the Nano 7 under the trees. Just so you know I had to be careful laying in the hammock. Not only was it an extreme hang, as you will see in the video, but the creek kept telling me to close my eyes.

Hey thanks for sharing. I often take the nano along on day hikes just in case I feel the urge to stop and smell the trees :-)
