enLIGHTened equipment is back with INSANE pricing

We have finalized our merge with Sanborn Canoe Co. We now have a team of people making our gear and that will eventually result in shortened lead times but as of right now it means that our prices are so much lower than ever before. Check out the site and let me know if you have any questions. We just opened for orders today and are hoping to start ordering materials in 2 weeks if the reception to our updated gear goes as planned.

Nice looking gear! I especially like the Cuban fiber quilts. Very nice, may have to save up for one of those!

I was asked a question i BPL that i'd like to answer here also...

All or products are made in the USA (not all the fabric but all the assembly). All the work is done by local Winona MN families(no child labor, i see that question coming) working directly with us, we are not going through a sewing firm. We believe this allows us to offer gear at a fair price, give our money back to local people we believe in and to have total control over the entire process at every step. We value these things and won't be farming out our work any time soon.

    Tim,
Good luck with your merger. I wish you well. I have always appreciated your inputs into the forums. Lower prices are always a good thing.

    Cranky,

if cost is the factor it will most likely not get better than the RevX which i hope lasts til Nov. They are going fast! (i hope the fabric lasts, we still have to actually make the quilts, details)

Yea the cost factor is partly, well ok mainly the reason! This time of year with holiday's, birthdays and all kinds of other things with the kids is depleting funds! I saw the cost of your quilt made with the seconds, and that is a SUPER deal and probably won't see that low of a cost very often from any cottage maker, here's hoping I have the funds before they are gone!

yeah it is a rough time of year, hence the big savings. I always have some 2nds around so if it doesn't work out you can contact me when ready and maybe i'll be able to do something for you, no guarantees but i'll at least see what i have at the time.
