I'd be interested. Let me know when and chances are I'll be there.
Right now, unless anyone has a preference for a weekend other than this, I'm leaning towards 12/30 to 1/2. Everybody's holidays should be over by then, and I have that Saturday off from work due to us being closed.
Otherwise, my preference is for the weekend of 12/2 to 5, since it doesn't fall too close to the holidays.
Whaddya think?
Probably be better to do the latter, as most folks will prob have plans for New Years. Heck, I'll hang anytime!
I concur with Duffy.

Alright. I just put in the reservation for the group campsite, and it's pending approval, for 12/2/11 at 11:00 to 12/6/11 at 13:00.
I won't be able to stay for the evening hours on 12/2 or 3/11, but I can definitely meet folks at the parking lot during the early afternoon (before 2-ish) and then get back to town for work those evenings. I'd be able to be back around midnight-ish or a little later those nights to stay the night, if folks don't mind me coming back so late. Obviously, I'd be quiet coming back .
I will be there all day and night on Sunday 12/4/11 and Monday 12/5/11, however.
Currently, I have it reserved for ten people, but I can increase that to the maximum allowed of twenty-four if needs be.
As of right now, the only restrictions on use at the Longleaf Flatwoods Reserve are basic LNT stuff: don't take anything out of there that you didn't bring in, pack out all of your trash, only build fires in the fire ring, and don't bring any motorized vehicles into the area.
Simple stuff, and if there are any announcements by the land management department leading up to the hang, I'll post them here and via PM to those folks who are definite about coming.
Count me in, at least for some of the time. I've put a request in to work for the days off. One night is the Troop's Christmas party, so I will naturally be away for that, but can come back to camp that night. Might get my son to come along as well.
Sounds like fun!

Good! I look forward to seeing you there.
I may have some of the folks from work coming out on Sunday, as well. They're all ground-dwellers (well, one of them is looking at hammocks for next year, but he doesn't have one as far as I know yet), but are generally a good bunch.
I'm a definite maybe. I've got a hiking partner in Tampa I'm trying to introduce to hammock camping. She's got a place in High Springs so maybe we can drive up after work and crash at her pad for the night then meet everyone the next day.
Sounds good....
