I recently bought these from some forum members to try out and they don't really fit into my gear setup. I'm just looking to pass them along for what I got them for.

First up is an early version MollyMac Gear IX TQ and UQ.

Yes its the tulle bugsock. It's hard to tell down here in VA at this point since all we really have left is mosquitoes... and few at that. my understanding though is that it won't prevent gnats or small blackflies from getting in, but will keep the mosquitoes out. Maybe someone with a bit more knowledge can chime in. Overall though, if you want mosquito protection for 2.5 oz, it's hard to beat!
