Really nice set up. I need to make a couple of stands for our only tree. I was trying to see the paracord in the picture. Is it there or did you add it later? Please add more pictures when you get around to it.

Good luck. Don't blow away. It is warmer in PA that in Texas? Wow I wonder if that is headed our way?
Midwest is going cold for the next couple of three days,,down to freezing in Indiana they are predicting,,great time to hang if I didn't have to work! Cold front will extend way way all the way south!
Good luck , visiting my sister inlaw in Ca. Last night I hung outside the wind was strong and acorns kept dropping but she lives on the rim overlooking San Bernadino . So enjoy your hang.
LAST NIGHT WENT GREAT!!!!!!!
The temperature got down to 35f with the windchill of 31f and the only time that I got cold was when I was tearing down my setup in the morning. The wind died down at the beginning of the night and there was very little wind for the rest of my hang.
I was extremely happy with my DIY Thinsulate UQ. I was wearing a ski mask, but was not wearing a jacket.
Good Job!!
Glad to hear it worked out. Can you post information about your quilt?
The Under Quilt was two layers of C100 Thinsulate 6 ft long, bought off ebay for $6.99 a yard. The thinsulate is a heavy material, but it was a great and cheap way of testing out an UQ. Plus most of my camping is car camping with the Boy Scouts, so I wont need a small UQ for probably a year.
