    Opinions Please

Im a newby to the hammock concept, not a newby to camping out though, just intrigued as to getting off the ground with the hammock option.

After looking at a number of hammocks the top of my list sits the Clark NX250 and the Warbonnet Superfly covering it.

Im 6'2" tall, 211 pound, gear needs to be robust, i put stuff through its paces as everything is second to chasing game.

any pro's/con's and or thoughts on the gear im considering would be appreciated, thanks in advance.

I do not know about the Clark NX250, but the Superfly is a great tarp. I just received my superfly and I have nothing but great things to say about it.

I thought the Clarks had tarps included. Have seen the hammock....mighty nice. Never slept in one so I am no help there.
If you get the WB Tarp....you will be pleased I reckon.

Guess I would start out small and see if you even like it first, but I'll leave this to the more experienced to answer. Just wanted to give your thread a "bump" so it doesn't fall too far down the list.

My post won't be of much help but I can't resist...

    I recommend purchasing both.

Try em out, let us know the results, then you can simply recoup your cost by selling the one you prefer least.

Shoot, I'd probably buy it from you.

thanks for the bump and thanks for the comment..yes it makes sense and is good advice, although i dont have access to a hammock of sorts to give it a go, i know of noone who has one. What i do know though is that with the hours of hiking i can do on a trip away, im always seeking to lighten the load and the hammock option will reduce my weight and volume significantly atm.

Im also someone who generally goes all out with getting info and then i lay out the cash for the best i can get rather than having to sell some cheaper stuff a few months down the track
