Possible replacement for all the Slapstrap haters?

    http://www.kammok.com/product-p/11003.htm

These straps seem to have the same easy design of the slap straps but are made out of polyester instead of nylon. I for one still use the slap straps because I love the ease of just putting the straps around the tree, unpacking my hammock, and clipping the carabiners into the straps. No toggles, no knots, no major adjustments needed, and even if I do want a different angle I just move the carabiner, takes 2 seconds.

I believe I will definitely be picking these up, and will probably post a review when they ship out. But I was wondering about other people's thoughts on these, or at least the 'daisy chain' style suspension system?

I have a set of the Kammok Python Straps and will be doing a review on them soon too. For now, I can say they are awesome. Almost game changing. They have excellent craftsmanship, are super sturdy (read: no stretching), with solid construction.

Kammok has done their research. Comparing many other hammock manufacturers who offer cheap rope techniques, etc., it is refreshing to see someone come out of the gate with something that is really, really useful, innovative, and follows established and recommended practice and technique.

They work with Dutch clips, but because the Python Straps have two layers, I had to slip each webbing layer one at a time to get them to fit.

I am almost surprised there aren't more products like this. ENO has the right idea with their straps, the slap around and hang works, they just anger people with the material. About time someone stepped in and took it over that last little ridge.

I still think I'll stick with my all-in-one whoopie sling; I like the fine tuning precision.

I liked the easy setup of the slap straps (I still have a set) but my issue is with the stretch..... the never ending stretch..... so I did the reach here. I finally bought a set of tree huggers, elephant trunks, and whoopies from smart outdoors. I still have the easy set up from before plus the fine tuning to get it dialed in perfectly.

I looked at the pythons from kammock and I think they would be a perfect replacement to the slap straps. I just don't see me buying them anytime soon.
Life looks better from a BIAS hammock.

I find I adjust my suspension an inch at a time sometimes so I like "infinitely" adjustable systems. It's good that they are polyester and are sewn in a double layer to avoid having to make loops. They certainly look like a well made product.
